Great Oaks Kids

A fun and encouraging environment for your children to learn about Jesus.

We offer kids ministry for ages 3 months to 3rd grade during our Sunday services. We are committed to providing a safe and positive experience for your child. Our Sunday classes include an activity, a Bible lesson, singing and a snack.

If you are a first time visitor, we have volunteers who will welcome you and help your child register for the age appropriate classroom. You can also pre-register your child to help the check-in process go smoothly on Sunday.

Connection Groups

We want to help you find belonging and friendship at Great Oaks. Connection Groups are one of the key ways we do that! Our groups meet in the evening throughout the week in homes. Each week you can expect the opportunity to get to know people, a time of prayer and opening the Bible to apply God's word to our lives.

Equipping Classes

Each semester we offer equipping classes to help you deepen you understanding of the Bible and grow in your faith. Our classes are also an opportunity to get to know more people as we learn together in community. Throughout the year we will offer classes on a variety of topics such as theology, practical living and studying books of the Bible.

How to Study Your Bible

March 23 - April 13; 11am

Great Oaks Church - Mankato Christian Academy

This 4 week class is designed to help you know how to better read, understand, and apply the Scriptures in your daily life. Each class will include a teaching and group discussion. We will be following the content provided from our sending church, Candeo. The cost of the book is $10. Please sign up by March 16 so we can provide you with the course materials.

Women's Remember Event

April 4th, 6:30-8pm

Hav'n Co.

Join us on Friday, April 4th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at Hav'n Co in Mankato for our Women's Remember Event! Sarah Hering, Women's Equipping Leader from Candeo Church, will be leading us through an evening of remembering God's faithfulness in whatever season you are in. The cost of the event is $10. Please sign up by March 31.
