Great Oaks Church is a rooted, local church community dedicated to serving Mankato and the campus of Minnesota State University with the life-giving message of the Gospel. Great Oaks Church is a part of The Salt Network - a family of churches planted next to major university centers around the United States with the goal of reaching college campuses with the message of Jesus. We hope to be a church near Minnesota State University that aims to serve not only the student body, but also the greater Mankato area. We strive to provide a welcoming space where both students and the city of Mankato can come together as one community.

If you are a college student, we’d love to have you join us at Salt Company - the college ministry of Great Oaks Church. Salt Company hosts weekly gatherings for worship and Bible teaching at Mankato Christian Academy.

As the service begins, you'll experience worship through song, and a Scripture-centered message meant to encourage, challenge, and point us to our ultimate hope- Jesus Christ.

We also offer a safe, fun children’s program during the service, so parents can worship freely, knowing their kids are learning about God in an engaging, age-appropriate way. Our team is committed to creating an environment where kids feel loved and excited to learn about Jesus.

After the service, there’s time to connect with others over coffee and conversation.
